Reloading - 308 Brass:
I'm looking for a little advice on brass. Just getting started on a reloading program and need a little advice on which brass would be the most practical for an average guy. The round of choice is a .308 Win. for my PSS. It is a part time bench rifle in a varmint class and the other part will be spent in the field picking off critters. So to say the least I'm a little brass ignorant. So would I choose Federal, Remington, Winchester, or LakeCity? The first three seen to be everywere but where do I find new LakeCity brass. Cost really isn't a consideration.

Todd, you asked about brass earlier. I have monitored the concentricity or bullet run-out of various brands of brass after neck sizing brass from the same gun using a RCBS Case Master (a great gadget - every reloader should have one). The most consistent brand I have found to date was Norma. Federal was the second best. You can get Norma from various dealers but the best price I have found was at Midsouth Shooter Supply 888-746-6837. They have a great selection of reloading components and equipment at the best prices I have been able to find. And no, I do not work there, this Scotsman just does not like to waste his money. After all, the 141st Rule of Acquisition is "Only fools pay retail". If they do not have it in stock, try Midway at 800-243-3220 but you will pay more.
