Buyer’s Guide to the Best Army Assault Packs.

When it comes to finding the best army assault packs, there are a few things that you need to take into account. Here’s a buyer’s guide to help you make the best decision.

Size.

First and foremost, you need to decide what size pack you need. The size will determine how much gear you can carry with you. If you’re planning on carrying a lot of gear, you’ll need a larger pack. But if you only need to carry a few items, then a smaller pack will suffice.

Material.

The material of the pack is durable and can withstand the elements. Choose a pack that is made from high-quality materials so that it will last you a long time. Materials like Cordura or Kevlar are ideal.

Comfort.

You’ll be carrying this pack for long periods of time, so comfort is key. Choose a pack with padded shoulder straps and a hip belt to distribute the weight evenly. Also, make sure the pack is adjustable to fit your body size.

Compartments.

Another thing to consider is whether or not the pack has compartments. This can help organize your gear and keep everything in its place. Large tactical bags usually have compartments for everything from your laptop to your water bottle. Other packs may also have expandable compartments for extra gear.

MOLLE.

MOLLE is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It’s a system of straps and loops that allows you to attach gear to your pack. This is a great feature to have if you need to be able to access your gear quickly.

Other Features.

When it comes to features, there are a few things you need to consider. Does the pack have enough pockets and compartments for all of your gear? Is the pack comfortable to wear? And finally, does the pack have a built-in hydration system?

Price.

Of course, price is always a factor when purchasing anything. But with army assault packs, you get what you pay for. The more expensive packs are usually made with higher quality materials and have more features. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to your personal preference.

Reebow Tactical Military Assault Backpack

Reebow Tactical Military Assault Backpack

The army assault pack from Reebow is composed of strong quality nylon that is weather resistant and simple to clean. The total capacity is 34L, and it stands 18 inches tall. The lining is double sewn with a strong thread, and the zippers are of heavy quality. Quick detach buckles keep the depression system in place across the front and side pockets. All fast detach buckles are completely adjustable for retention.

This assault pack does not feature a hydration bladder, but there is room for a 2.5L bladder to be attached. A MOLLE system is placed across the front pockets and on the sides. The shoulder straps are cushioned and netting, with extra nylon straps for size adjustability.

This is an excellent place to start when buying online if you’re looking for army assault packs but don’t require the most authentic, top-of-the-line pack. You get a lot of storage capacity in a sturdy material for a low price.

Pros
  • Very affordable price
  • Double stitched lining
  • Fully padded shoulder straps
Cons
  • MOLLE is not mil-spec

Weffort Military Tactical Backpack

Weffort Military Tactical Backpack

The tactical army assault pack from Weffort is a little bigger than the previous edition. It has a capacity of 40L and stands 20 inches tall. It’s also available in all black or all tan. The polyester structure is very thick and water-resistant. A hydration bladder compatible compartment is supplied, however the bladder is not. Heavy-duty zippers and cable pulls also secure all compartments.

The MOLLE webbing system may be found on both the front and side pockets. There is a compression mechanism comprised of four fast release buckle clips. The shoulder straps are completely cushioned and adjustable with nylon pulls.

This alternative isn’t too far off the path of the prior option, but it does boost the ante a little. There is more storage space, and the neutral hues are more discreet and inconspicuous. This one, on the other hand, has fewer fast-release compression buckles. It’s an excellent assault pack for carrying clothing and rations, as well as hefty hunting equipment. It’s also not much more costly than the prior one. If you invest a few more bucks on a good hydration bladder, this pack will last you many days or a difficult walk through nature.

Pros
  • Comes in discrete colors
  • Spacious compartments and pockets
  • Plenty of adjustable straps
Cons
  • Less compression buckles

CVLIFE Outdoor 50L Military Rucksack

CVLIFE Outdoor 50L Military Rucksack

The CVLIFE army assault pack is a 50L capacity backpack with a roughly 20-inch height that is ideal for more demanding activities. It comes in three colors: black, acu, and CP. The material is 600D nylon, which is water resistant and simple to clean. The shoulder straps, chest belt, and hip belt are all completely adjustable and include fast detach buckle clips. Three removable compartments connect to the MOLLE webbing system. Heavy strength zippers are used on all zipper closures. The assault pack has a compression mechanism on both sides and over the top.

If you want something more like what the pros use, CVLIFE’s assault pack not only has a large main compartment, but there are also removable side pockets to carry goods. You will also benefit from a more durable material. Unlike the previous two assault packs, which were composed of polyester (which is fantastic for wiping away spills and repelling dirt), this one is constructed of much stronger nylon.

It will be more resistant to rips and tears caused by the weather outside the pack or by high weight within the pack. We strongly advise using this pack with the waist strap since the shoulder straps alone will not support the weight of your stuff.

If you’re going away for a week or just have a lot of goods to carry, the CVLIFE 50L Military Rucksack is the finest army assault bag for you.

Pros
  • 50L storage space
  • All-black look is discrete
  • Detachable side and front pockets
Cons
  • Shoulder straps alone will not bare all weight

GGD Explorer Hard Stone Tactical Backpack

5.11 Tactical RUSH72 Backpack

This backpack is composed of high-density fabric that will last you for a long time and is water-resistant. It has a side load compression system, a front load compression system, a vented mesh cushioned back section, and breathable and sturdy shoulder straps. Additionally, it has heavy-duty zippers that are double-stitched and have utility-style cord pulls. In addition to being a three-day assault pack, this backpack may also be used as a survival backpack, a rifle range bag and even an everyday daypack. It is quite adaptable.

The MOLLE tactical backpack incorporates a MOLLE system and MOLLE webbing throughout for connecting extra tactical pouches or accessories. Despite its large size, the straps may be tightened to keep it compact. Because to the many compartments, you can effortlessly manage your belongings with this bag. A free camelback water bag is also included.

Pros
  • Water-resistant and made to last
  • Very spacious compartments and multiple pockets
  • Free Camelback water bag
  • Affordable price
  • Can be tightened to make it more compact
Cons
  • Waist belt may fall apart
  • Some reviews say that zippers will break after a couple of uses

Our Favorite Army Assault Pack

Out of all four army assault packs, our favorite one was the Weffort Military Tactical Backpack. It’s not the biggest or the strongest assault pack in this review, but for the price, it has some of the best value. We also don’t think everyone needs a 50L assault pack with extra side pockets that are completely covered in MOLLE webbing. The Weffort backpack has just the right amount of storage space and MOLLE integration for our average readers that need a few days worth of storage in a comfortably sized pack.

For our best budget pick, we choose the GGD Explorer Hard Stone Tactical Backpack. Despite its affordable price, it has premium features like durable and waterproof fabric, multiple pockets, and a versatile and adjustable design.

  1. The 5.11 Rush series comes in several sizes and will more than do the job for probably 99% of people’s uses. They’re very well made and last but are a little more expensive than these options though. If money isn’t a big factor and you want something you can wear into battle, then S.O.E equipment would be my go to…but even the 5.11’s would likely be adequate for that too in most cases.
