Ghost ring sights have been used mainly on shotguns and submachine guns, thanks to their rapid target acquisition and capability to make a huge increase on accuracy. Lately, however, ghost ring pistol sights have been making the rounds (no pun intended) and have become increasingly more popular. If you have a Glock, you may want to consider stocking it with Glock ghost ring sights.
We all know how basically anyone who owns a pistol owns a Glock, and installing ghost ring pistol sights is a great way to give you the edge in competition, combat, or self-defense. Weâve compiled a list of the best Glock ghost ring sights on the market, and weâll let you know which we think is the top choice for 2017.
Ameriglo Green Pistol Ghost Ring Sights
Materials â The Ameriglo Green Ghost Ring Pistol Sights are made of all black polymer, and they fit every kind of popular Glock model. The bright green tritium sources are made in Switzerland, which are good for low light situations and nighttime. The rear sight has a ridged pattern to deflect daytime lighting, and the front green dot sight is outlined in white for better definition and accuracy. The Ameriglo Green Ghost Ring Pistol Sights are used by law enforcement and military, and are designed with self-defense in mind.
Performance â The Ameriglo Green Ghost Ring Sights for Glock models are very well made, rugged, and durable. We noticed right away that these ghost ring sights are a little higher than the stock sights for Glocks, so thatâs something to keep in mind when you switch over. The green dots are very visible and clear, although we wish the ring was illuminated better like some other ghost sights on this list. The white outline on the front sight helps with this issue, though.
What we say â This is one of the lower priced ghost ring sights for Glock models within this review, so we think it deserves a place in the top four, despite some of its setbacks. If the Ameriglo Green Ghost Ring Sight is used by law enforcement, then it surely must get the job done for combat or tactical uses by an everyday gunowner. We donât mind if the sights sit a little higher on our Glocks because we can adjust for that. The pieces are easy to install, and the tritium inserts are very visible. If youâre unsure on whether or not youâd get good use out of a Glock ghost ring sight, the Ameriglo Green Ghost Ring Sights are a good starting point. It goes for around $70.
- Low cost
- Used by law enforcement and U.S. Military
- Efficient and get the job done
- Ring not illuminated
- Higher than stock sights
- Not best quality materials

Snake Eyes Ghost Ring Sights
Materials â The Dead Ringer Snake Eyes Ghost Ring Sights are made of a durable metal construction and are mostly black. These ghost ring sights are a step above more basic ghost ring sights because the rear sight comes with either green or orange optical Lexan light pipes, which glow in both daytime and lowlight situations. Thereâs green tritium in both the front and rear sights for quick target acquisition in even low lighting. The Dead Ringer Snake Eyes Ghost Ring Sights fit all Glock models, so you shouldnât be concerned when purchasing. Snake Eyes are regarded as high-end combat sights.
Performance â For this Dead Ringer Sights review, we had to take our time to get adjusted to the features, and we suggest you do too before claiming to not like it. The Lexan light ring in the rear sight takes some getting used to, but it can be really effective once you do. This ring glows well during most times, but complete darkness will leave you lacking a little. The packaging of the Snake Eyes Ghost Sights says it fits all Glocks, but the one Glock model it wonât fit is the Glock 42, so keep that in mind before purchasing. Also, itâs best to have this ghost ring sight professionally installed.
What we say â Our Dead Ringer Snake Eyes review involved a lot of give and take. The price is still reasonable: it costs between $90 and $100, depending on which color Lexan ring you choose. Weâre counting the ring as a pro, but it will be up to the individual to decide if thatâs an effective feature for them. This ghost ring sight takes a little more patience between the installation process and getting acquainted with it, but itâs still one of the best and most professional ghost ring sights on the market.
- Reasonable cost
- Lexan illuminated ring in green or orange
- Quick target acquisition
- Requires professional installation
- Takes practice to get used to it
- Does not fit Glock 42
Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Glock Sights
Materials â The Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Sights Glock attachments are designed for SWAT members, shooters with bifocals, and anyone with poorer vision. It fits nearly all Glock models, including 17, 19, 22-27, and 33-39. The rear sight of the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro is all black, sans illuminated ring, and has two green tritium inserts on either side. The front sight has the bright green dot surrounded by a bright orange circle for accuracy and rapid target acquisition. Itâs boasted to be visible in all lighting situations. The Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Sights Glock attachments also comes with a Glock front sight nut driver adjustment tool.
Performance â Weâre pretty impressed with the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Sights. Despite not having an illuminated ring, the orange circle around the front site really makes up for it, and we definitely prefer the contrasting orange over the white ring on the Ameriglo Ghost Ring Sight. If youâve struggled with poor vision while aiming, you certainly wonât have to worry about that now. Weâve seen some complaints that the rear sight is too low for some, so you may have to do some adjusting if this is the case for you. We feel this depends more on the shooter than the sights themselves.
What we say â Thereâs a lot of good reasons as to why the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Sights are on our top four list. Thereâs very little to complain about. We really appreciate the adjustment tool that comes with the kit. Weâre also definitely big fans of the orange circle around the front sight, and the tritium is visible in both day and night. For about $90, the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro is a great choice for any Glock owner.
- Good price
- Contrasting orange and green front sight
- Glows during daylight and low light
- Comes with adjustment tool
- Doesnât fit all Glock models
- Rear sight may be too low for some
Tru-Glo Brite-Site TFX Pro Ghost Ring Sights
Materials â The Tru-Glo Brite-Site Glock Ghost Ring Sights look very different from the other ghost ring sights on this list. Theyâre intended for the newer Glock models: 42 and 43. Instead of a ring, the rear sight is more of a barrel shape, but it still has the green tritium optics on both sides. The front sight looks more familiar, and is also has the green tritium insert with a bright orange ring around it. Despite a different shape, the Tru-Glo Brite-Site TFX Pro Glock Ghost Rings Sights should impede the ability to properly holster the gun or perform well with it. This one does not come with an adjustment tool.
Performance â If you have a Glock 42 or 43, youâre going to have to decide is the different shape of the Tru-Glo Brite-Site TFX Pro ghost ring sight is right for you. We think this sight may make your view more clear than with the standard black ring, which may interfere with your vision. Again, we really like the contrasting orange ring on the front sight, and the tritium is pretty visible in both daylight and low light situations.
What we say â The main reason we included the Tru-Glo Brite-Site TFX Pro Ghost Ring Sights on this list is because we realized most of the other sights donât pair with the newer Glock models. We wanted to make sure our review covered as may Glock owners as possible. This is the most expensive ghost ring sight on the list, coming in at over $100. We honestly think that if you can find a different ghost ring sight that will fit a Glock 42 or 43, then consider the alternative, but this ghost ring sight does perform very well. You may even like this rear sight better than the average rear ring sight.
- Fits Glock 42 and 43
- Bright orange circle on front sight
- Tritium glows in nearly all lighting
- High price
- Doesnât fit other Glocks
Our Favorite Glock Ghost Ring Sight
We can easily say that our top pick are the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Glock Sights. They cost a friendly price, and we really had to do some digging to find any complaints about them. This ghost ring sight performs well in all lighting, we love the orange and green combo on the front sight, and we really appreciate the front sight adjustment tool that comes in the kit. Even though itâs not the cheapest sight on our list, we think the Ultimate Arms Gear Pro Ghost Ring Sights are an excellent choice for both first-time and long-time buyers.
